Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) is the AI framework we use to generate Avatar Coach feedback and interactive conversations. We use an industry standard LLM combined with our own proprietary knowledge sources. This synergy allows us to use the strength of the LLM in terms of natural language understanding and responses along with our deep expertise in the growth mindset topic. It also allows us to meet a good "explainability" level of why the Avatar Coach gives the answers it does.
